Since 2013, our REACH program has been a beacon of hope for indigenous students in the Los Altos region. Tailored to the unique needs of 9th-grade students—the final year of middle school in Mexico—REACH motivates and supports them in enrolling and staying in high school. As the sole educational support in this rural context, REACH overcomes adversities with the joint effort of students, parents, and teachers. Your support directly contributes to making education a reality for all, breaking barriers and fostering a brighter future.
In 2018, we introduced COBACH Emprende, an entrepreneurship training program aimed at empowering students with the skills needed for success and business creation upon graduation. Developed in collaboration with Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Lab (J-PAL) and the U.S.-Mexico Research Center from the University of California-San Diego, this program equips public teachers to impart both technical and soft skills to students. Your support directly shapes the next generation of entrepreneurs, fostering innovation and resilience.
Since our inception in 1998, we've championed education not only through scholarships but also by building over a hundred safe and weather-proof spaces across Chiapas. Collaborating with local, municipal, and state governments, our school building projects are strategically focused on villages where REACH's impact has boosted high school enrollment. Your contributions have a tangible and lasting impact, creating conducive environments for learning and community growth.
