In #Mexico, there are 6 million #indigenouswomen, which means that approximately one out of every ten women residing in the country is indigenous, according to INMujeres.These #women represent the generational transmission of their spiritual traditions, the history and philosophy of their communities, and the preservation of the land, territory, and natural resources.Although problems related to #gender are indeed part of their experience, it is essential to mention that their work, weaving, and voices go beyond any statistics.In Foundation Escalera, we recognize the gaps in education and gender. We also understand that these are not stigmatizing conditions.
